The Afghan Hound

Charlotte Corday av Poppyfield

This is me handling an Afghan hound on a show in June 2007. She went Best of Breed two days on row and was 3. and 4. Best in Group.

On the day her "mom" got married, I had the joy to show this dog on a two day long dogshow, and when "mom and dad" was giving etch other their wedding values, they was completely unknown that their beautiful Afghan hound was winning the Best of Breed. What a wonderful weekend, that I'm sure the family will remember for ever...

What a lovely dog with a splendid attitude, a fun dog to show and a real beauty.

Sara is now living in Atlanta, USA.

The small dog from Tibet, Tibetan Spaniel

Sol-Wa-Dalen's Moska

This small beauty is a little spoiled "mom-dog". He is always on the look for his "mom", but he is still showing very well. Moska has a lovely temper and is fun to show. I'm sure I'm gonna have many more shows with this little wonder.

The french breed, Briard

N S Ch. Li-Brie's Still A Man

Owner, Kurt Salo and "Sherpa" with a camera on his head

The TV Star, Sherpa

(From the dokumentary "Et hundeliv" (A dog life) and guest on The Opera Winfrey Show)

This is the big TV star named Sherpa (N S Ch. Li-Brie's Still A Man). He had over two years of time a camera on his head, filming the documentary "Et hundeliv" (A dog life) that was a real success in both Norway as well as other countries around the world. Because of his popularity this dog was invited to The Opera Winfrey Show in America. On his trip to The States he was flying first class inside the plane, with his owner and producer, Kurt Salo, and he was treated like a big star on the Opera Winfrey Show.  The documentary "Et hundeliv" (A dog life) is a program about the way dogs communicate with each other. Over some years Sherpa was filming the dog’s reaction and the way of speaking from a dog’s point of view. The result was marvellous and the documentary was giving a lot of answers in the dog’s way to communicate.

Sadly Sherpa died in the summer of 2007. A big sorro for many people that loved this beautiful dog. His son Lèopold is now going to continue filming the dogs life...

I had the joy to handle Sherpa on some dog shows. He was a tuff dog with a lot of attitude. A special dog you’ll never forget...
